TMNT or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4 !!!!! Ahhh Hell YEAH!!!

Post by SJD »

Hey all,

I am 19 until at least around 8am and have and always been down with The Heroes in a Half Shell. In a way to me it sort of is somewhat my last chance at being a kid or what not. And when I heard that they were making another one I tried to keep myself contained, but my mental child self thing was going apeshit. Especailly when I got my first glanced at the trailer, about a year ago, I got so jazzed and just anticapated it.

Now I it may or may not be of interest to most and looked at as childish and or something of a popular fad, like Pokemon which some may have felt was some weird "mind fuck", not saying Pokemon was some stupid shit, because I'm guilty of being a part of that and I was cool with it......even now. I have been Ninja Turtles fan all the way even through the time every kid was going bipolar for Power Rangers, which again I am guilty of being a part of but not as much as I was with ninja turtles. But being into power rangers was I think more due to the pink ranger and my subtle knowing and realization of ladies and thinking to my self....that lady of the female persuasion is pretty..... damn pretty. Even then I was still a ninja turtle fan. I love and still love the games, the cartoon, the toys, and all the movies.

I don't know if this is the fourth one but it sure seems like it to me. The fourth one is supposed to be more based off the original comics which is alot darker, more violent, and had more naughty words. The comic came out before the games, cartoon, and movies and when it got into the mainstream it had to drop the rowdiness was made more accesible to all. It is supposed to be more based on the stories from the comics, and more, more darker then the other movies, but still accesible, and also CGI animated instead of live action like the original films. It will have everything except......... no Vanilla Ice, whether that is a good or bad thing.

So for all those who were a apart of Turtle Power go. I will go and I know I will enjoy myself no matter what......okay.....PEACE OUT!!! B-)
....and
Go Ninja! Go Ninja Go!
Go Ninja! Go Ninja Go!
Go Ninja! Go Ninja Go! Go! Go! Go!
Ninja! Ninja Rap!........................ I'm sorry for that.

Damn shame I know that chorus :X .............. ]:o)
Shit just got branded in my mind. ;p

Here's something of a timeline and evolution and change of the turtles (don't worry nothing Vanilla Ice related) as well as the movie site...

Hey Everybody,

this will be pretty lengthy but hang in there and if you thought you may have read this already I put another added feature here

Let me clear some things before I get to the movie. I've dug this as a kid and still do, and not in the look back for retro reasons, or being campy, or sarcastic negative way. When the trailer first came out I heard a lot of bitching about the graphics and the fact it was CGI and not live action, which is understanable..... I didn't listen, but it seems understanable. Also that there was no characters from the cartoon and toys like; Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, Slash, Baxtor Stockman, Mondo Gecko, Leatherhead, etc. I felt the same way when the second and third movies didn't have these characters but a lot of kids were use to the cartoon show and didn't really know about the comic. The movies were more based off the stories from the comics which was a lot darker and violent and had none of these charactors and family G rated things. So the movies couldn't be too dark and there had to be a balance. Well some charactors are from the comic, except they were changed or altered in the cartoon show. Krang was based off a race of aliens in the comics called utroms. Baxtor Stockman was still a mad scientist, but didn't turn into a fly and was black and not white. Leatherhead was mutated like the turtles, except a friend and not a enemy who is cajun, trying to add turtle to his gumbo. So characters were either added or altered. Recently they've made a new line of cartoons that have stayed more true to the comic. The original comics always had all of them in red bandanas. The director of this one worked with the comic creators to stay to the original comic and choose CGI to go a new direction and be able to do things that couldn't be done live and now that it's doing well they'll maybe snazzy"' it up more, the next time, but I never thought about that when I watched it, or ever even occured to me, becuse it really did look very detailed.

Well I turned 20 saturday on the twenty fourth and for a present my family and I went to see the movie. The theater in my town wasn't showing it, usually just two or three movies and that's it, so the nearest theaters that are bigger and have more variety are over two hundred miles away in town. So when we got to one we made the day more, due to my birthday, we caught two movies before we ended with Ninja Turtles. So got in line fifty minutes before it started and less then two miuntes from when we got in line there were already about fourty people that got in line and then when we were let in the theater it filled, and audiance reaction was great.

As soon as it started I got a little emotional and I just seems like at least three years ago I was four watching all the first three movies continiously putting the tapes in the vcr, and my parents getting mad that I kept doing this everyday.

Then as the film continued I lost myself in the movie and I was a kid again. I don't want to say much but the fight scenes..... damn. Raph versus Leo 8-O in the rain.... nuff said. The shredders daughter is introduced in the movie, she is from the original comics. I really.....REALLY! loved it! Very intense! Very funny, I mean it not being sarcastic. I anticapated this more than Spider Man 3. I wasn't let down. It is, and I'll borrow a phrase from Michaelangelo, awesome. I really enjoyed it. I'll be hoping my theater here will show it, I'll probably be watching it lot more at every chance I get. Peace Out!

A brief experience about when I first saw the trailer. When I saw the preview for it when it hit the internat a half a year back I was so happy that they were going to make it and that I will get to see another Ninja Turtles movie. Then when I saw the trailer again in the theater there were some real young kids and toddlers there, in the beginning as soon as they saw the eyes in the dark and noticed the shape of the turtles, I could hear them all saying "Ninja Turtles" I just... smiled. If you can't play the videos just download/install the player at this link http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download ... omoid=BIOW - Adobe Player' it's free. Well here is the teaser trailer.....

Here's another trailer with some more stuff from the movie.

And something rare, cool, and funny from when they were making the second movie. You have to go to through the link to the youtube site. There's a part where she asks about why they don't get nominated for an oscar and then race gets involve, well probably specicism.....pretty silly..

I found this and it brought back memories..... Ahh childhood. The song is by Partnerz N Kryme ( I think I spelt that write), and it's off the first movie soundtrack.

And if you want here's a link to the imfamous song from the second movie...(Warning!: this is for past fans, I've learn to accept it. One kids childhood memories, could be anothers mans nightmare. enjoy)
