On the cover of todays LA Times is this picture of a bright young face going off to die in a senseless war. It's also sad that this young man apparently has such limited options that joining the Army during wartime seemed a good option for him or that he so unconditionally loves a country that doesn't love him back. I pray for this young man, those soldiers already in Iraq/around the world and the souls of those who have fought and died.
