A producer friend of mine, who among other things produced...The TOokie Williams Story with Jaime Fox... called me last night to express his condolences and also to tell me he was having one hell of a time as well...he was inside the prison...inside the death chamber when they killed Tookie...I just want to say...that maybe there will come a day when we stop this insanity of capital punishment. Arnold is a terrible governor, a heartless asshole...and a stupid politician. What he lacks in compassion, I had thought he might make up in political savy...knowing that at least he could get himself some good will from sparing this man's life..a man who had clearly demonstrated redemption...! No...he is not even a savy political animal...!
I am sorry they killed you Tookie!
