I saw him mention in his diary that he met Louis Armstrong and it made me wonder what kind of music Rich likes to put on nowadays. I picture him listening to a lot of that mid-60s jazz, Miles Davis and Coltrane, but I've never heard Rich talk much about the music he likes.

I dont know why people always leave out Henry Rollins when talking about great comedians. I know he usually plays music venues and usually calls what he does Spoken Word, but the guy's intense and honest and he's as anti-Bush and anti-stupidity as they come.

It was great to see so many different kinds of comics say they were under the Pryor influence. Just shows how many different kinds of comedy one man was able to create.
