The first time I saw Richard Pryor

When I saw Richard on tv in 1969 or there about, I laughed so hard that I had a revelation. It was then (at the ripe old age of 17) I realized that I had not laughed for years. With all the drama of that time I had become so serious that I forgot it was good to laugh. And I haven't stopped since. Except for the time I pulled an old Christine and put on some of what I thought was plain chapstick. I made a couple of stops before I checked my look in the mirror and found I had Ronald McDonald lips. Not pretty. I'm just happy I didn't scar any young minds. I think?
