Thanks for your input. Yeah, I know the project seems kind of heavy. The article I ain't too proud of, it'll have to do for the moment until I get around to fixing it. As for photos, that is something that I've been thinking about for a long time. I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking that if I do, it would be better for me to display it online rather than live on stage. For any of that stuff, there will be warnings so no-one sees anything that they don't want to see. Finding the humour in it all is the big challenge, but I'm game enough to try. As I had said before, Richard was a big inspiration to me, expecially after viewing the Pryor on fire routine. It gave me an idea on what I could do with these experiences. After all, the last thing I want to be up there, is boring. I've been researching heavily many different routines, Richard included, so hopefully the study pays off without actually ripping anyone off. That's something I'm careful to avoid. It won't just be stand up though. Gonna test my acting abilities as well. You might want to check the livejournal over the next coming days. There was a movie that came out in 96/97 called Shine. That was when Geoffrey Rush won the best actor oscar for playing pianist, David Helfgott, in the film. Last Thursday and the following Sunday, I got to spend some time with the real David. Hanging with the guy was one of the most fun experiences of my life, if you saw the film then you have an idea of what he's like. Geoffrey got him down very accurately. I'm currently typing an article on the visit, which you can expect to see over the next few days when I put it online in the journal. Thanks again, remember all your honest opinions help give me an idea on how this will be recieved before I take it to the masses. I'm scared shitless so every little bit helps.

It'll Be Better Tomorrow seems very cool but the other thing is rough. Thank God you don't have pics up (assuming you intend to) but if you can figure out a way to tasefully inject humor into that subject, all the power to you! I'll check it out again when you got more up.

After seeing Richard's performances, it inspired me to work on this project. The website is in it's early stages so I'm coming to you all for any ideas or suggestions to add to it. Since we all love and respect Rich, I thought it would be appropriate to share this with you all. http://www.448warning.com - Warning' Just one thing before you visit. This deals with self-mutilation and may be confronting for some. We are trying to present this for what it is in a no-holds-barred sort of way. It will appear to be very serious, which of course, it is, but the show will contain humor. That's where the Pryor influence kicks in. This would have to be the boldest thing I have ever worked on. There is an article on the site that I wrote for a UK mag. I ain't too proud of it, the narrative is kind of shit, so this is just up there until I fix it. The editor was kind enough to allow me more time to sort it out, but it's up there for people to read. The other project I have worked on is the Hubert Selby Jr (Requiem for a Dream) documentary where I acted as associate producer. http://www.cubbymovie.com - It'll be better tomorrow'Despite two of his books having been made into movies, Hubert didn't die a rich man and not much was left for his family. Money made from the film goes to his family so that his grandkids can go to college. Robert Downey Jr was kind enough to do the narration. I believe he did it for free. It's almost wrapped up.
