I know it cliche` to say you feel numb after a loved one has passed away. Let's say a family member passes to say something like.."I just feel numb." I think it's denial or something. I know he was hurting for years but after I heard he was gone I find myself thinking about it and noticing my eyes are dropping, the mouth is hanging open and I say out loud to no one. In a whisper.."I'm so sorry Richy boy." Catch myself and go about my business. This is normal eh?...
