A friend of mine asked me today if my daughter liked some kids book... I replied "How would I know?"
This made me think.
I don't know what my kid is into, and it really doesn't interest me other than to hope that it doesn't screw her up too bad. I have no say in what she does anyway, since I'm only a father...
I have almost the same attitude as my dad did. I pay support, and then for the most part no news is good news...
I can feel Richard on his relationships with his kids too in a way. I am who I am. You can like it or not.

i understand that.....when my ex was pregnant with my daughter... she asked me to think of a name so i went to work an thats all i thought of ...then i would tell her an she would ponder about it an then say no.....then when the time came she named her what she wanted .......so when she was pregnant with my son she told me the same thing.....an i said no thanks..name him what you want cause you are anyway...an so she did
and there could be different catagories, like a What Would Richard Pryor Do? award for those times when shooting holes through something is the only reasonable response.
I got a new doctor, she's called a violent behavior specialist I am not a violent person I just want that award. this lady at the store was going to cut up my credit card which I thought was a bad idea because I knew it was good but her pompous ass was going to make a show of it so I thought it was only fair that I get to beat her cash register with the shovel that I was going to buy with my credit card. the lady saw my reasoning and gave me my card back but I have to go to anger managment and sleep teaching something or other classes. no joke, not for that particular incident but thats the one I'd most like to get the award for.
