Still had more living to do.

Village Voice, a weekly free newspaper published here in NY, ran a trubute to Richard which began with "Richard Pryor really was ready to die. When I interviewed him a few years ago, he told me what bothered him the most about his MS was not being able to jump around like he used to, reminding us that this most verbal of men was also as physically comedic as Chaplin. For those reasons Pryor's demise was a sweet release, a right fitting and proper breaking on through to that other side." [Greg Tate, 12/20/05].
Not being able to jump is ample reason to die, right?
Anyone who's been reading Richard's own postings know's he was far from done living.
Yet this is the popular perception of him and so many others who live with a disability.
Daryl "Chill" Mitchell, another performer who became disabled, says his battle for acceptance as a disabled performer is no different from his battle as a Black performer.
Ain't it the truth!!
The Voice is only publishing letters which agree with Tate (or are so few writing in with contrary views?).
Please don't take this shit!
