A Tribute Poem for Richard Pryor.

Post by chemicalkid »

everybody know how much I loved Richard Pryor.

but do you know why?

Ok. lets get the easy answer out of the way.

Funniest comedian to ever touch a stage.

How many of us... can say I remember sitting and listing to Richard Pryor when I was a kid... even though I knew I wasn't suppose to. We all have the same story.

But do you know how he inspired my life.

It was he truth. he wasn't scared to tell it like it was. he wasn't afraid to put his heart and soul out for the world to consume.

he lived his life and put it out there for you to deal with it with him.

that’s the way I want to live..

I'm never going to be afraid to show my soul.. I know sometimes I'll get hurt but I’ll always be alive.

So I ask all of you don't be afraid to tell her you love her.

Don't be afraid of making a change.

Don't let a moment of life pass with out reaching for it.

I always wanted to be able to thank Richard Pryor in person for being such an inspiration to me, But I never took the steps to making my dream come true. So each time I take the stage I am thanking Rich for inspiring me ..I just hope he enjoys the show from gods Skybox seats..

And For the Rest of you . Just Live . take a chance ..our time is short so Don't let to many moment go by with out a smile on your face. find those that make you laugh. Find the one that sends a tingle through your body when you touch her hand. Tell them you love them. Hold them close and always be honest and open . .. Then when your time comes you will know that you lived a life worth living .. Full of love

Thank You Rich .

Raphael G. Chemaly

I have loved and Lost

I have laughed and cried

I seen spring and fall

I shared my heart with you

and you may have seen it brake

But through it all I have lived

Because it was all true.

bingolong,

Alright, so it is Richard's star... But why did he take a picture of Chris Elliot by Richard's star?
