Addressing Forum, and Website

Coming up in the following days some changes will be found........a lot of them.

The current scripting language Cold Fusion (or cfm) will be replaced by php manuscript, and general coding (ones that we can actually understand and write). Also, PayPal and shipping fees should be updated at that time to be accurate. *It's a bloody miracle!*

There is currently some negotiations going on about the forums, whether there will be an archive or not. No posts will be lost however *I will ensure this*

Also within the next month or so, a server switch will be in order, so the normal downtime everyone's used to seeing will be no more.

Remember anything involving the forums and transfer is in a negotiation process, what I am asking for here, is if there are members that want a specific thing included, or removed (anything to be removed will have to pass through checkpoints of approval).

astonamous,

Yes, you will still be able to upload pictures and what not. Astral Power Boards cost money...so, XMB I feel is better to go, it's fast secure, and easy to use.

I'll experiment with the $maxattachsize in the XMB config file...to see if it can withstand files over 1,024 KB. Otherwise as I just told Jennifer, I'll gladly add a script for it to be possible.

Including or remove,
This is site-wide. Although, I'm sure people love the site now...so most of my requests I get will probably be addons ;)

astonamous,

Actually yes lol, I just step a test board up testing the Attachment output:

Feel free to check it out.

As far as the site layout, that's well already decided I believe ;)

bcddjjsc690, JTF,

Of course you don't :P...it's not for active posting yet. There's so much work that still needs to be done.

This was meerly a test forum to modify the attachments, and transfer of a stable database.

astonamous,

I think we should do something like returning The Black Forum.

Except we could do it with like, black lettering on a black background. Make it all CIA and shit...

And no matter what you type, "black" would be pu in all the appropriate places...

[/i]So I had this dream... There was a beautiful woman driving a car... She looked at me and said "Get your ass in!" I was like "Bitch!"[/i]

But we would never know, because it would be all CIA and shit...

JTF,

How about I put it this way...

No one can properly modify the Cold Fusion board, it's very unstable and very insecure. We can either, stay here, without modification and risk an attack, or we can move over to something secure, easy to modify, and post on with our happy lives.

:) Giving you the plain facts, nothing more, nothing less. In any case, I'm looking for more opinions than just one, so lets wait until Jennifer, or someone else comes in here with input. I'd like to hear what all have to say, I'm sure you understand this.
