It was sad to see a grown man asked some very simple questions ,and get caught in his own web of lies.
Pettitte testified that Roger Clemens spoke to him about HGH in or about 1999-2000, his (Pettitte's) wife corraborated his story because he tells her everything.
When asked if this conversation ever took place, Clemens replied that Pettitte "MISHEARD " him . Then he changed that answer after being told that Pettitte testified to 3 other conversations about the same subject, that he ( Clemens) was talking about his (Clemens)wife taking HGH.
Well Roger it was sworn testimomy that your wife admitted using HGH once, in 2003 . So how possibly could you have been referencing something in 1999-2000 that happened in 2003 ??? Your phsycic ability is astounding !!
His lawyer should have smacked him in the back of the head right there, and said we'd like to leave the proceedings now .
So if you ever have to testify before Congress , watch the Godfather and do your best Micheal Corleone. But don't do anything like Roger Clemens did , it was so comical it was sad.
