It's so funny to watch the rhetoric on both sides of the global warming issue. One group of scientists blame our behaviors then the other scientists say the first scientists are full of shit. Regardless of whether it exists or not, is it not in our best interest to depend on our own fuel sources? We got hella sun in the southwest, hella wind in the plain states, and plenty of corn everywhere else (which isn't as effective as sugar ethanol). You would think the supposed "Self Suficient" nature of republicans would superceed their greed for big oil money.... but when was the last time their principles outweighed their desire to get rich and fuck everyone else. one guy said that 500,000 species of plants and animals will go extinct by the end of this century and another guy said that there was hope for 499,999 of those species if mankind would be the first to go. Your right, it's all about the money, if a person can grow their own corn they can also make their own fuel, moonshiners been doing it for years.
