Re: this was the funniest

troy,
You can find it on three CDs--"...Is It Something I Said?," the 2-CD "Anthology," and the 9-CD "...And It's Deep Too!" boxed set. (The name of the bit is "Mudbone--Little Feets.") And you can SEE Richard doing it on the bonus disc of the "Richard Pryor Show" DVD boxed set.

Re: greatest pryor quote??

bingolong,
Back in the early '70s, a white interviewer observed, "You talk about being black a lot," to which Richard replied, "I AM black a lot."

Re: No such thing as bad pussy - Which routine is this in?

JustaguyOK,
Bingolong is right...That bit is on "Here And Now." The "Here And Now" album is only available on CD in the "...And It's Deep Too!" boxed set. But it's also on the "Here And Now" DVD.

Re: Rumpel Stiltskin

Visitor,

It'll be included in a "new" 2-CD Pryor release from Rhino Records entitled "Evolution/Revolution: The Early Years (1966-1974)," scheduled to hit the stores on February 1.

Stay tuned!

Re: What your Favorite Pryor flick?

As far as his non-stand-up flicks are concerned, I'd have to go with "Which Way Is Up?," "Blue Collar," "Silver Streak," and certain scenes in "Stir Crazy." He was great in "Lady Sings The Blues" as well. Oh, yeah..."Uptown Saturday Night," even though he was only in one scene.

<t>ROBZILLA,<br/> The first Richard Pryor album I ever heard was "That Nigger's Crazy" back in '74, when I was 12. I'll always have a particular soft spot for that LP. <br/> <br/> The first Pryor album I actually owned was '78's "Wanted/Live In Concert," which I purchased a couple of years after its...

Re: First Memory ...

<t>My first memory of Richard is when he appeared on "The Partridge Family" TV show back in '71 when I was 9. 'Cept I didn't realize that it was Richard 'til several years later when I accidentally caught the episode again as a rerun. He made his first impression on me, however, when a friend of min...

Re: Help finding 'for the love of money' sketch

Visitor,
Do you mean the skit in which Richard plays a greedy preacher (the Rev. James L. White) pleading for donations, while the song "For The Love Of Money" is played at the beginning and end of the skit? If so, it's on disc 3 ("The Richard Pryor Special").
